Back in black! Futurismic rides again
Just goes to show that you can’t keep a good blog down! I’ve Just uploaded the database to Futurismic’s new host, and everything seems to be working fine - not to mention running far faster than the old installation.
If you notice anything untoward in the operation or appearance of the site, I hope you’ll let us know. In the meantime, back to business! ![]()

in my Opera browser the screen is literally black - with red print, and consequently difficult to read.

Thanks, Lee - has that always been the case? The theme and CSS hasn’t changed at all in the move … I’ll try to check this out with Opera as soon as possible.
Can anyone using Opera replicate this problem?

It seems to work fine here, with (the old) version 9.01.
I have this thing where much of the layout “jumps around” when mousing over links, though; as if someone hit the up/down arrow keys. But nothing fatal.
And I’d like to thank you for not inserting bogus blank alt attributes in img tags on the site. (Like: img src=”pic.png” alt=”") Everyone seems to do it, and breaks stuff if you want to browse without loading images.

No problems, Magetoo; we try to adhere as closely as possible to XHTML standards and best practice as we can without making things excessively difficult for ourselves. Luckily Wordpress does a lot of the hard work for us …
