Artist’s note – the tortoises in question were African Spur-Thighed tortoises, not Galapagos, and the museum quite deliberately borrowed a breeding pair for the exhibit, to show “evolution in action.” At least one visitor posted camera-phone footage to Youtube, but it’s pretty grainy.
