Made me think of Gibson and Stoss, two of my favorites. Stumbled over the itsy bitsy paragraphs a bit, too simplistic for the prose or something, choppy maybe. The character changes didn't work for me though: Bob is Bill for a while, Angelina becomes Angelica becomes Angelique, the male lawyer becomes female and the female lawyer becomes male -- there's so much else that's new and original going on here that these switches just detract from the story. I kept having to go back to check on who was who was what. Other than that, it's a strong story. Nice story!
