Unlike alcoholics, wowaholics who are severely addicted to WoW do not have medical problems. Alcoholics get liver disease, start coughing up blood, and develop heart failure which all causes them to go to a doctor to seek help. Wowaholics don't get help before it's too late - there have actually been cases of WoW addicts dying in front of computers after playing 2 days straight without taking any food breaks.
