From a materials science perspective, many of the easiest-to-fab-with plastics burn rapidly at high temperatures which implies that they could be used as mold-making for metal working. Once we get past desktop plastic parts to desktop *metal* parts, say goodbye to Napa and all the other replacement &#039;bits&#039; companies.</description>
