What if I sit on a spot with 2-3 camera's shooting cars on a spot where everyone runs the red lights? Say - the cops pay me 5% of every speeder I catch and report. What if I get evidence of, say, speeding and then offer the automobilists involved to pay 10% to me not report their speeding? Or what if vigilantism of this kind would require a licence? - have to get a "vigilante" licence of some sort (to weed out those who would urge the process of crime along to make some extra cash) ... or even more screwy - hire and train people in Bangladesh to sit behind a monitor and pay them a percentage for every prosecutable crime they spot? Enjoy it while it lasts - the window where humans can make this kind of petty cash will only last a decade or less. This will of course be automated very soon.
