		<description>Back in the 90s there was a game called Syndicate.  In Syndicate you played the CEO of one of several corporations battling for control of the world.  The world was broken up into territories, the inhabitants of these territories lived in slums and ate rubbish but they were hooked into an AR dreamscape that convinced them they were in paradise.

This was supposed to be a dystopia.  Even at the time it struck me as the most natural use for augmented reality : Airbrush out the poor people and the ugly buildings.</description>
