Paypal has launched Paypal Mobile and some people think it’s the Next Thing. I’m a bit skeptical — seems a lot more complicated to text someone money than to hand them a fiver.

Paypal money may be too old-fashioned already – I hear that in parts of Africa people swap talktime via mobiles, and convert it into local currency as required… time is the new money….
