The Unstabalizer sounds like a great way to separate drunk people from their money. It’s a concept application for bars that sets the price of beverages based on demand — the more people buying martinis, the more expensive they are and the cheaper the neglected margarita.

Texas Webcam Immigration Scheme

Texas is going to hook up a bunch of webcams on its border with Mexico and give Internet voyeurs a toll free phone number to call to report people sneaking across. If I were a coyote, I’d pay someone to flood the phone line with false reports when I wanted to cross.

As I write this the sun is just about to set on Eagle Beach at Aruba. I can watch it happen at Eternal Sunset, a website that follows the sun around the planet and streams the images from west-facing webcams as it goes.
