A Dr. Franklin Felber has reportedly come up with a solution for Einstein’s gravitational field equation that allows for objects travelling close to the speed of light, something no other solution to date has been able to do. Essentially, it provides a way to accelerate a spacecraft to a “good fraction” of the speed of light, a feat that would ordinarily require the equivalent force of 30 billion tons of TNT, with a relatively small expense of energy.
