The Pink Tentacle reports on Japanese press releases, concerning a Hitachi Maxell fuel cell made to a simple design and using aluminium and water to crank out about 10 watts, enough to power a laptop for four to five hours. A great potential use for all that scrap aluminium out there.
Anti-Satellite Lasers
Why limit yourself to war on the planet’s surface? Think big like the Pentagon, and militarise space with ground-based anti-satellite lasers. After all, you wouldn’t want anyone else being able to take satellite images of the surface with the same degree of accuracy as yourself, would you?
